Specials & Promotional Models

Jouef could always smell good commercial opportunities and the marketing department of the firm were never short of ideas for new markets, and to answer the specific requests of various customers.

Until the 1980's, a considerable number of companies offered trains to their customers or their associates - there is no doubt that the managing directors had had a Jouef train as a child, and that their target market was mainly composed of men!

Here is a list of the promotional models produced primarily up to the early 1980's. Jouef continued to issue 'specials' up to the late 1990's. These were wide ranging and are thus very highly prized by collectors.
