1/87th scale vehicles

Below is a table of the models produced between 1955 and 1980. Up until 1960's there were only six variations (which originally came in a presentation plastic see-through box - Cat No:180). The 1957 catalogue showed some types that were apparently not produced, at least not by Jouef, but the 1960 catalogue reverts to the original six. The range increased in the 1970's but by the end of the decade the standard of the models had fallen and the latter cars are poor representations of the prototypes.

Basically the original six can be classed as Series 1, these six cars plus a few similar additions all having red wheels Series 2 and the later poor representations Series 3

Interestingly, the original six models were eventually produced with a number of variations on the chassis, as with other promotional tie ups Jouef made the cars with commercial branding:

Examples can be found with the following names underneath

bulletCoop Champs in a circle in the centre as well as Jouef
bulletRogeron
bulletFrancorusse
bulletBlank -i.e. no Jouef name at all

Series 2 models can also be found with grey wheels just to add to the fun of collecting!
