The wagons were provided by the Societe d'Equipments des Grands Itineraires (SEGI) and by Alliance et Gestion Commerciale (ALGECO). STEMA  (Societe de Traction et d'Exploitation de Materiel Automobile) operated the service, equipped the railheads, accepted bookings, dealt generally with the traders and paid the appropriate rates to the SNCF.
