Although portrait format instead of landscape, it had a very similar inside layout to the
previous year's catalogue
and included
a nice K class Pacific (left) and the 141R coal-burner now in green. New electric
locos included a co-co class CC6551 'Maurienne' and a bo-bo class BB25110. The
class BB67001 bo-bo diesel now came with the heating van in a boxed set.
A departure from purely SNCF models saw the first German DB Bo-Bo quad
voltage locomotive
(right) together with a matching DB coach in blue. This was also
accompanied by further German coaches in both green and in red and cream.
A 'Grand Confort' baggage/generator car arrived and a UIC brake in grey
and green as well as one in stainless steel to match the 1st class 'Inox'
coach. A UIC full brake/baggage car 'Fourgon' was also introduced. Now
that the range of modern coaches had expanded to 15 full length examples
the older models looked distinctly out of place.
The older 'Kronenbourg' 4 wheel vans were released in new liveries of 'Spätenbrau',
'Jouef Trains' and, re-introduced from Playcraft days, 'Evian'. The
Kangourou set disappeared but the piggyback wagon with a 'Bailly'
semi-trailer remained.
More buildings were added and the slot cars brought up the rear.
