1971-72 Catalogue

This year was interesting as the primary series for toddlers 'Chou-Chou Baby' was introduced Chou Chou Baby(left) with a battery-powered loco running on plastic track similar to Tri-ang's Big Big train but nothing like scale models. On the grown up front the models were improving and the new 4-8-2 Mountain class 241P was a fine example.Gril Express Another new model was the class CC6500 co-co electric loco. The only addition to the coaching stock was a 'Gril Express' modern restaurant car (right).

The freight vehicle range only had a new  bogie tanker which appeared in 'SMTS' livery. Similarly the narrow gauge was unchanged. On the buildings side more new models were introduced and the Telecommande system was now called 'Jouef-matic' and examples of its use covered three pages.
