The style of the inside changed this year and new models included the splendid 2-8-2 steam locomotives class 141R now available in both coal and oil burning versions and a new electric loco 2-D-2 class 5500 No: 5516 (left) which featured on the cover but little else apart from a new 'ELF' bogie tanker, based on the old 'Shell' tanker body and still bearing the words 'Jouef for Playcraft' underneath. 

A new mechanical shovel load for the well wagon (made by Corgi - Jouef were the Corgi agents in France) and a track cleaner (right) in the guise of a 4-wheel tank wagon.

Once again  'Un amour de petit train' ('A cute little train') was included but the range appeared to be static.
