The picture on the 1967 catalogue was based on a
frame from the French film 'la bête humaine'
which centres around a loco driver of the SNCF
This year saw the introduction of metal wheels for
the rolling stock. 
Two varieties of the 0-8-0 tank loco were introduced, the electric
BB16001 and the diesel CC70002 together with the Budd EMU.
Also introduced from the Playcraft range were the Decauville narrow gauge
items.
On the freight side the Kangourou set, the
articulated car carrier, Heineken beer van, Primagaz tanker and
Bailly
container truck were included for the first time.
Accessories introduced included the 2 aspect colour
light signal, an electric uncoupling rail and the SNCF staff figures.
For the first time the Jouef-designed plastic building kits were
included but there were also some of the old Pola range too.
Slot cars and Brik were at the rear as was the list of dealerships
which still included 'The Mettoy Company' with addresses in London and
Northampton.
