1966 Catalogue

Locomotives introduced this year were the green Co-Co electric CC7107 (below left) , the  Dutch version CC71071308 in blue, the bo-bo diesel BB66150, which was highly praised for its quiet operation, and the spectacular Genève - Nice Panoramique railcar. The Cockerill 85T crane was also introduced (still going strong 30 years later) andBailly container wagon a couple of new liveried tank wagons (Primagaz and Pierrefitte). The 4-wheel low-sided wagon with two Bailly containers was also included (right), although a previous version with SNCF containers had been available in 1964.

The building kits in this catalogue still seemed to be from Pola, the range being small but including many seen in the Playcraft catalogues.

This catalogue gave nearly half the pages over to the slot-car range and introduced the 'UNIVERSEL BRIK' construction bricks which appeared to be similar to Lego.
