1963 Catalogue

This catalogue introduced the engine shed, which was similar to the one sold at the time by Hornby Dublo. It also saw the introduction of the 'International' couplings.

It featured the class 231C Pacific as well as the NB shunter (in 9v & 12v versions) and the NB bo-bo D6100. The CIWL coaches were shown with a view of the underside revealing the words 'Jouef for Playcraft' although this was a Jouef catalogue.

The operating BR Royal Mail coach was also introduced in this year as was the operating hopper wagon , both also in the Playcraft range sold in the UK.

The wine tanker, the flat wagon with tube load and the cement wagon were all new this year and the range of wagons was the same as that sold under the Playcraft banner in the UK.

The bridge and elevated sections were also introduced.

Included at the rear of the catalogue was a list of Jouef dealers not only throughout France but also in Europe
